This is a classic 35% settlement with one of the smaller credit card banks. It's
important to understand that settlement is a normal part of the collection
process, and it's not just the top few banks that settle.
Settlements in the range
of 35% to 50% (and often much lower) are usually possible with credit card debts
in general.
