I completely agree again charles. From my experience it is so much better to disclose the entire process negative and positive. If you cut corners your only goign to be hurting yourself. If you do not tell them the negative things first off they will complain to the bbb and other such like organizations and second they will drop off of the program because they were'nt aware of the situation they were getting involved in.

In response to Steve's comment above, I'll add an observation of my
own. I've been involved with debt settlement for 10 years, longer than
most of the people associated with the industry. In all that time, I've
talked with thousands of consumers that face debt challenges, and trained
dozens of counselors. I have NEVER found it necessary to "sugar-coat"
the process, conceal the possible negative effects of settlement, or
enroll people who were not suited for this approach. None of that is
necessary at all. So it's just laziness and greed at work. The better
companies -- and there are still some excellent debt settlement companies
out there -- have checks and balances in place to ensure that everything
is properly disclosed, no corners are cut, and only consumers who fit
the profile get enrolled in the program. Leaving this entire process up
to sales reps who gets paid on a commission basis is just asking for
trouble in advance.

Charles this kind of stuff really gets me going. You are 100% correct there are just so many companies out there who will lie, cheat and steal and basically say anything to get someone to enroll. Which in turn gives the industry as a whole a very bad rap. Making it harder for legitimate companies to do business. It really is ashame because many people who do need help turn away and go bankrupt or just stay on the credit treadmill losing thousands in interest. Why? Because they are scared of being scammed by an unscrupulous company. Unfortunately I do not see an end to the problem, as long as there is high commission for some sales reps, they will say whatever. Overshadowing the rest of the industry with a cloud of shame
